Help visitors find the right place

Use Alkax when a home, meeting point, family property, or rural destination is easier to locate by map point and landmarks than by street address.

An Alkax home place showing a precise entrance pin, Plus Code, and share options.

A useful personal address combines a precise arrival point with context people can recognise and share.

The situation

Someone knows the destination personally, but a visitor does not. A pin alone can bring the visitor close without explaining which gate, building, or entrance is correct.

Alkax workflow

  1. Place the point precisely. Use the current GPS position or select the destination on the map.
  2. Add recognisable context. Give the place a local name, locality, category, and a concise landmark-based description.
  3. Check nearby matches. Reuse the existing place if Alkax detects that it has already been mapped.
  4. Share the address. Send the Alkax link, Plus Code, QR code, or printable sticker.
  5. Keep it current. Edit the place if the arrival description or visible landmarks change.

Good address context

Useful descriptions are observable and short:

Avoid including door codes, personal schedules, phone numbers, medical information, or anything that should not be public.
