A useful address is more than a point on a map
Alkax is a digital addressing network for places that are difficult to describe with street names alone. It combines precise coordinates with local knowledge—names, landmarks, categories, photos, building details, and trust signals—so a destination is easier to recognise, share, and reach.
The problem Alkax solves
A coordinate is precise but difficult to remember. A street address is familiar but may be missing, duplicated, outdated, or too broad. Alkax connects the two:
| Location data | Human context | Useful outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Coordinates and Plus Code | Place name, locality, landmarks, photos, entrance details | A destination people can find and recognise |
| Stable place record | Community signals, claims, quality status | An address that can improve over time |
| Share link, QR code, or sticker | Navigation and arrival context | A location that moves between people and systems |
What you can do with Alkax
- Create a place at your current location or a selected map point.
- Find a place by name, locality, Plus Code, coordinates, category, or proximity.
- Share an address as a link, QR code, Plus Code, or printable sticker.
- Navigate to it with the precise point and its human-readable context together.
- Improve trust through duplicate checks, votes, flags, claims, and verification.
- Light up trusted coverage through nearby missions, weekly locality challenges, quality-gated progression, and team campaigns.
- Capture offline and send queued contributions when connectivity returns.
- Confirm delivery details before dispatch through recipient review and correction.
- Integrate place workflows into another product through Alkax APIs.
One network, two ways to use it
Use the Alkax app
People, businesses, communities, and field teams can create, search, save, share, and improve places directly in the web app. Contributors can also join mapping campaigns and grow their Impact and Trust levels as their work is independently verified.
Integrate Alkax
Product teams can connect their systems to Alkax for place lookup, verification, delivery confirmation, and event-driven updates.

What Alkax does not claim
Alkax does not replace a country's legal, postal, land-registration, or emergency-dispatch systems. A community or platform verification signal means that a place record has stronger supporting evidence; it is not proof of property ownership or a guarantee of service availability.
